I’ve been to the Microsoft Launch 2007 in Frankfurt last week. The event was really huge, 5000-7000 people listening to the sessions and wandering through the halls. Microsoft kicked off their 2008 products Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008.

I was in Leipzig this weekend to see the League Cup Final between Schalke and Bayern. The match wasn’t exciting at all, but the city is lovely. We visited the Völkerschlachtdenkmal and had a very tasty meal at Auerbach’s Cellar, which already was Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s favorite bar. The beer there was extra inspiring.

I’ve been in Bonn today. I just had about one and a half hour to see something of the city, so my sightseeing was quite fast-paced
At least i saw the minster (Münster), the Beethoven House (birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven), the university and the Court Garden.
